This inner city, renovated Melbourne home focuses on optimising storage space within the kitchen. The brief was to create a workable, functional yet contemporary space, creating clever storage solutions, including integrated fridges and pantries.

Utilising a central island benchtop, with a place to sit, as well as inbuilt storage, the kitchen elements are versatile and cleverly positioned. With a mix of overhead and pull out drawer systems, the brief was met with the trademark made. style of clean lines and seamless finishes.

The made. team worked closely with the builder to overcome the challenges that reinventing an ‘old’ home can present. German engineering is the cornerstone of the made. kitchen, which allowed for easy adjustments to cabinetry, overcoming the challenges of uneven walls and floors.

This made. kitchen utilises door finishes in SOFT LACK magnolia, handle-less handles, pullout pantry systems and solid beech organisational systems. Together with ‘thin’ benchtops in CORIAN TUMBLEWEED, these elements create the perfect family kitchen – containing all the necessities, sans clutter and mess.
