made. kitchen for a richmond townhouse
This inner-city Melbourne townhouse is the perfect example of an open kitchen-living area set within a limited, multi storey footprint, conducive to a busy lifestyle that required ease of use - while maximising space.
Creating a contemporary home that worked within its urban surrounds was key, and a design requirement from the property developer client, was to integrate the living and kitchen space for a seamless flow between the two areas without creating one distinct focal point.
To reach this objective, made. combined materials for benches, cupboards and handles to enhance both practicality and aesthetics. The galley style kitchen with informal benchtop seating, focussed on maximising storage solutions with an all white kitchen palette that reflects the light from the frosted window through-out the kitchen.
The clean white colour scheme and materials in the SPOT foil wrap in MAGNOLIA with bar handle blends effortlessly with the rest of the home. To keep with the design-driven focus, the kitchen design features include made.’s soft closing doors & drawers, practical solid beech drawer inserts and highly engineered internal organisational systems.
